Orthosiphon Stamineus or Java Tea is known as a relieving herb for rheumatism arthritis caused by muscle injuries. In Malay it is called "Misai Kucing" or if translated directly to English it will be "Cat's Whiskers".
Despite of it's weird name, nevertheless, this herb has a high potential in bringing huge relief to arthritis sufferers. To prepare this herb, it is very simple.
Collect the leaves and dry them up completely. Or, you can purchase this Java Tea leaves from most of Traditional Chinese Herbs stores. Then, boil some water and simmer the leaves for about 5 minutes. Let the water cool for a while, and sip it just like you sip your ordinary tea.
Do not add any sugar if you want the maximum benefit out of this Java Tea. Drinking it regularly or if possible on a daily basis, you will notice that the joints and muscles feel more relaxed.
